Once upon a time, there was a good fairy
who asked the Viennese:

"What is the reason for your sour faces?”

They responded:
"In this heat, we want to be surrounded by greenery, and at the same time we want to have our houses. But it looks like we can't have both.
That's frustrating."

The good fairy, who was from Sweden, smiled.

"I have what you're missing:
Stacking and storage is the solution!
That way, there's plenty of space."

The Viennese were a bit skeptical:
"That didn't work in the Arabian Desert."

The fairy:
"Well, you're not going to get a desert here, more like subtropics, and you can approach the scale sensibly. All you need is the right shelving system - with a family card at a special price."
(Even fairies don't work for free in capitalism.)

That convinced the Viennese.

They made a contract and the good fairy brought many, many shelves, which the Viennese enthusiastically assembled along their streets...

they took their houses and arranged them inside,
and from then on were happier than ever before,
because suddenly they had lots and lots of space in between ...

for the birds,
and the bees,
and the flowers,
and the trees,
and the stars up above
and … (censored)

The fairy was happy too, because with this deal she could finally afford proper designer furniture...

And they all lived happily everafter.
